JOHNSON BROS. Mill House, One (1) DINNER PLATE Excellent Condition Plate is 9 7/8".

Johnson Brothers blue on white plate is beautifully detailed transferware. The old mill and surrounding buildings are enchanting. This plate has the most beautiful border in florals and scrolls.

Marked: Mill Stream, Made in England By Johnson Bros. All Decoration Under The Glaze Permanent & Acid Resisting Colors. A Genuine Hand Engraving Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Backstamp: In blue "Made in England" and this is the oldest of all the backstamps.

blue: - the Imperial Works
green: the Hanley Works
red: the Trent Works

These are genuine and MADE IN ENGLAND, not the knockoffs.

Condition: No chips, cracks, crazing, there are two very small indents on the back that are either from production or plate holders (see photos).
